The Gowin family have teamed up to produce a new book,Maggie, (due out in September from Tin Roof Press) and Emmet and Elijah were recently printing at Cantz press in Germany.The first image shows the plate used to print the tri-tone images. Other photos are from on press or at the Scheufelen paper mill located outside of Stuttgart. They have been making paper since 1855 and produce one the best offset printing papers for photographic reproduction called PhoeniXmotion. The Xantur version of this paper is natural white and the paper that Maggie is printed on.
